Common use of Government Official Clause in Contracts

Government Official. “Government Official” means: (a) any employee or officer of a government, including, without limitation, any federal, regional or local department, agency or instrumentality of a government, or an enterprise owned or controlled, even in part, by a government; (b) any political party or any official or employee of a political party; (c) any official or employee of a public international organization (such as V2023 the World Bank or United Nations); (d) any candidate for political office; and (e) any person acting in an official capacity for, or on behalf of, any entity identified in subparts (a) (b), (c) and (d).

Government Official. “Government Official” means: (a) As used in this Section 21, the term "government official" means any employee or officer of a government, including, without limitation, any federal, regional or local department, agency or instrumentality of a government, or an enterprise owned or controlled, even in part, by a government; (b) any political party or any official or employee of a political party; (c) any official government or employee of a public international organization (such as V2023 the World Bank any department, agency, instrumentality or United Nations); (d) any candidate for political office; and (e) wholly owned corporation thereof, or any person acting in an official capacity for, for or on behalf ofof any such government or department, agency, instrumentality or wholly-owned corporation thereof, or any entity identified in subparts (a) (b), (c) and (d)candidate for political office.

Government Official. For purposes hereof, “Government Official” means: means (ai) any employee or officer of a governmentdirector, includingofficer, without limitationemployee, any federal, regional or local department, agency or instrumentality of a governmentagent, or an enterprise owned representative (including anyone elected, nominated, or controlledappointed to be a director, even in partofficer, by a government; (bemployee, agent, or representative) of any political party Government Entity, or any official or employee of a political party; (c) any official or employee of a public international organization (such as V2023 the World Bank or United Nations); (d) any candidate for political office; and (e) any person anyone otherwise acting in an official capacity for, or on behalf of, any entity identified in subparts (a) (b), (c) and (d).of a Government Entity;

Government Official. “Government Official” means: shall mean (ai) a director, officer, employee, agent or representative of any government, military or state-owned or affiliated entity or organization; (ii) any employee or officer of a government, including, without limitation, any federal, regional or local department, agency agency, corporate entity, instrumentality or instrumentality political subdivision of a government, any government or an enterprise owned or controlled, even in part, by a governmentmilitary; (biii) any political party person or commercial entity acting in an official capacity for or on behalf of any official government or employee of a political partymilitary; (c) any official or employee of a public international organization (such as V2023 the World Bank or United Nations); (div) any candidate for political office, any foreign political party or any official of a political party; and or (ev) any person acting in an official capacity forofficer, employee, agent or on behalf of, representative of any entity identified in subparts (a) (b), (c) and (d)public international organization.

Government Official. “Government Official” means: shall mean (a) any employee or officer Representative of a governmentany Governmental Body, including, without limitation, any federal, regional or local department, agency or instrumentality of a government, or an enterprise owned or controlled, even in part, by a government; (b) any political party Representative of any commercial enterprise that is owned or controlled by a Governmental Body, including any official state-owned or employee of a political party; controlled medical facility, (c) any official or employee Representative of a any public international organization (organization, such as V2023 the International Monetary Fund, the United Nations or the World Bank or United Nations); Bank, (d) any candidate Person acting in an official capacity for political office; any Governmental Body, enterprise, or organization identified above and (e) any person acting in an political party, party official capacity for, or on behalf of, any entity identified in subparts (a) (b), (c) and (d)candidate for political office.

Government Official. “Government Official” means: refers to (ai) any public or elected official, officer, employee (regardless of rank), or officer person acting on behalf of a national, provincial, or local government, including, without limitation, any federal, regional or local department, agency agency, instrumentality, state-owned or instrumentality of a governmentstate-controlled company, public international organization, or an enterprise owned or controlled, even in part, by a government; political party and (bii) any party official or candidate for political party office or any person acting on behalf of such party official or employee of a political party; (c) any official or employee of a public international organization (such as V2023 the World Bank or United Nations); (d) any candidate for political office; and (e) any person acting in an official capacity for, or on behalf of, any entity identified in subparts (a) (b), (c) and (d).
