Grants and Awards. Enter the organization's awards, grants, subsidies, and other pass-through expenditures to individuals and to other organizations. Include allocations to affiliated organizations. Include in-kind grants to individuals and organizations. Include scholarships, tuition payments, travel allowances, and equipment allowances to clients and individual beneficiaries. Pass-through funds are not included when computing administrative expenses reported on Line 22. Enter the organization's direct payment of expenses of clients, patients, and individual beneficiaries. Include such expenses as medicines, medical and dental fees, children's board, food and homemaker services, clothing, transportation, insurance coverage, and wage supplements.

Grants and Awards. The Committee will designate individuals to whom Grants and/or Awards are to be issued and will specify the number of shares of Common Stock subject to each such Grant or Award. Profit, earnings and revenues used for any performance goal measurement shall exclude: gains or losses on operating asset sales or dispositions; asset write-downs; litigation or claim judgments or settlements; accruals for historic environmental obligations; effect of changes in tax law or rate on deferred tax liabilities; accruals for reorganization and restructuring programs; uninsured catastrophic property losses; the cumulative effect of changes in accounting principles; and any extraordinary non-recurring items as described in Accounting Principles Board Opinion No. 30 and/or in management...
