Common use of Grievance and Remedy Clause in Contracts

Grievance and Remedy. An employee shall have the right to grieve the placing of any document in his/her file regarding performance of his/her duties or character. The grievance may be based on the substance of the document or failure of the Employer to comply with service provisions of § 11.3 above. Should the grievance be sustained, then the remedy is expungement.
