Common use of Grievance/Dispute Resolve Clause in Contracts

Grievance/Dispute Resolve. The Board agrees that the time spent in settling disputes by Union Stewards or representatives shall be considered as time worked provided that such time shall not exceed a total of twenty-four (24) working hours in any one (1) month. The Union agrees to forward to the Board a written list of names of such Stewards, a record of time spent by each Xxxxxxx in settling disputes and a list of replacements obtained for Stewards who are required to be absent to settle disputes. In order that the work of the Board shall not be unreasonably interrupted, no Xxxxxxx shall leave his work without obtaining permission from his supervisor, such permission will not unreasonably be denied.
