Common use of Grievance Procedure/Timelines Clause in Contracts

Grievance Procedure/Timelines. A grievance is any matter concerning the interpretation, application, or alleged violation of any currently effective Agreement between the District and the CTU, or which alleges any employee represented by the Union has been discharged or disciplined without just cause, or has been treated unfairly or in a discriminatory manner. Nothing shall preclude the Union or an individual from the right to file an Unfair Labor Practice in accordance with O.R.C. 4117. Grievances shall be resolved in the following manner: Commencement of Grievances – See Section 10 of this Article entitled “Time Limits” at subsection B.
