Guaranteed Admission Sample Clauses

Guaranteed Admission. A. UMGC shall accept eligible students (“eligible students”) who have attended or graduated from PPCC with an Associate’s Degree, if the students complete and submit UMGC’s application for admission, have met UMGC’s admission criteria, and are not otherwise disqualified by federal or state law, or any policy of UMGC or the University System of Maryland (“USM”). To be an eligible student, the applicant must: 1. Certify on the admissions application that they have graduated from a state- approved or regionally accredited U.S. high school or achieved one of the required equivalencies under USM Policy III-4.00; have completed high school or 60 or more of an Associate’s Degree; have satisfied UMGC’s English proficiency requirement; and have satisfied and all other admissions requirements under UMGC Policy 210.00 Undergraduate Admission Policy (“UMGC Admissions Policy”) (available at:xxxxx://xxx.xxxx.xxx/administration/policies-and- reporting/policies/academic-affairs/undergraduate-admissions.cfm); and 2. Be in good standing at PPCC, and not subject to disciplinary expulsions or suspensions at USM or other institutions in accordance with Section III.E. of the UMGC Admissions Policy and USM Policy V-8.0–Board of Regents Policy on Event-Related Student Misconduct (available at: xxxxx://xxx.xxxx.xxx/regents/ bylaws/SectionV/V800.html); and 3. Not require F1 visa or I20 applicants or other visas that requires sponsorship from UMGC. B. The Institutions agree that eligible students may be allowed simultaneous admission to CC and UMGC. If an Alliance Student is simultaneously enrolled at the Institutions, the Alliance Student is subject to applicable federal, State, and local laws and regulations as well as all practices and policies in effect at both Institutions. C. UMGC will not promote transfer to UMGC before a student has completed 45 credit hours at CC and shall encourage students to continue to obtain their Associate’s Degree. D. UMGC will waive the UMGC admission application fee eligible students so long as the last institution attended by the student participates in an Alliance with UMGC. E. Both UMGC and CC shall post these requirements for eligible students on their respective websites. Guaranteed Admission. 1. Upon receipt of completed VWC application materials, VWC will guarantee admission to GAA students. No distinction will be made by VWC regarding college courses applicable to the transfer- oriented associate degree that are taken through dual enrollment arrangements with high schools. 2. GAA students admitted to VWC will have all transferable academic credits, earned with a grade of C or better, accepted at full value. Credits earned at accredited institutions other than Virginia's community colleges to satisfy the transfer-oriented associate degree will be accepted at full value with credits earned from Virginia's community colleges. 3. GAA students may transfer up to 64 semester hours from any accredited 2-year institutions toward the minimum of 120 semester hours required for a baccalaureate degree from VWC. In addition, credit for courses completed through International Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement, CLEP, and Armed Services experience will be accepted according to stated policies for acceptance of credit, which can be found in the VWC catalog for the year the GAA student enters VWC. In line with a new curriculum implemented for all students in the Fall of 2011, GAA students matriculating at VWC in the Fall of 2013 or after will need to earn a minimum of 128 semester hours for a baccalaureate degree from VWC. A student transferring in 64 credit hours would achieve that 128 requirement by taking four semesters (2 years) at the typical VWC course load of 16 credit hours per semester.

Guaranteed Admission. Tri-C transfer students awarded an Associate Degree as defined above will be guaranteed admission to the University at junior standing, provided they have earned at least 60 transferable credits hours with a grade of “C” or better. Tri-C transfer students without an Associate Degree but obtaining a minimum 30 transferable units as defined above will be offered guaranteed admission to the University. Students will be made aware that additional prerequisites and graduation requirements may be required by Central State University for certain majors. Only students who are in good standing at their last transfer institution will be considered. There is no application fee for admission.

Students will be made aware that additional prerequisites and graduation requirements may be required by Xxxxxxx- Xxxxxxx University for certain majors. Only students who are in good standing at their last transfer institution will be considered. CCC transfer students without an Associate Degree but obtaining a minimum 30 transferrable units as defined above will be guaranteed admission to Xxxxxxx-Xxxxxxx University. In either instance, students will be made aware that additional prerequisites and graduation requirements may be required by Xxxxxxx-Xxxxxxx University for certain majors. Only students who are in good standing at their last transfer institution will be considered.
Guaranteed Admission. CCC transfer students awarded an Associate Degree as defined above will be guaranteed admission to the University at junior standing. Students will be made aware that additional prerequisites and graduation requirements may be required by Bowie State University for certain majors. Only students who are in good standing at their last transfer institution will be considered. CCC transfer students without an Associate Degree but obtaining a minimum 30 transferrable units as defined above will be guaranteed admission to the University. In either instance, students will be made aware that additional prerequisites and graduation requirements may be required by Bowie State University for certain majors. Only students who are in good standing at their last transfer institution will be considered.
Guaranteed Admission. Successful completion of the Texas State-ACC Pathway Program guarantees admission to Texas State University, but does not guarantee admission to a particular college or major. Students who complete the program requirements will be guaranteed full admission to Texas State (no application is required). Students who do not successfully complete the Pathway Program requirements will not be able to continue their enrollment at Texas State after the first year.
Guaranteed Admission. Students who receive an Associate of Arts, Education Pre-Major, from Madison College will be guaranteed admission to Edgewood College when students transfer directly from Madison College to Edgewood College within 5 years of completing the Associate of Arts Degree Education Pre-Major. Students who take coursework at another institution between the completion of their coursework at Madison College and their transfer to Edgewood College must meet Edgewood College's transfer student admissions requirements of a cumulative GPA of 2.0 in all college-level coursework. Students must also meet posted admission deadlines. Students who present a cumulative GPA of 2.75 with a completed Associate of Arts Degree, Education Pre-Major will be offered guaranteed admission at Junior status into the Elementary Education program at Edgewood College.
Guaranteed Admission. LCTC transfer students awarded an Associate Degree, as identified above, will be guaranteed admission to Xavier University at junior standing. Students will be made aware that additional prerequisites and graduation requirements may be required by Xavier University, in its sole discretion, for certain majors. Only students who are in good standing at their last transfer institution will be considered. LCTC transfer students without an Associate Degree but obtaining a minimum 30 transferrable units as defined above will be guaranteed admission to Xavier University at an appropriate standing to be determined by Xavier University. In either instance, students will be made aware that additional prerequisites and graduation requirements may be required by Xavier University in accordance with its academic requirements certain majors. Only students who are in good standing at their last transfer institution will be considered.
