Guaranteed Days Off. 24.01 (a) Maximum Days
Guaranteed Days Off. An employee on a long term assignment will receive time off in accordance with personnel policies applicable to In- Flight Service Management employees.
Guaranteed Days Off. On all short term assignments, the minimum guaranteed days off applicable to the individual according to his/her status that month, Regular or Reserve Blockholder, will be provided. No short term assignment will be offered to an individual whose minimum guaranteed days off cannot be provided in that month.
Guaranteed Days Off. The employees have the option of ten (10) days off in a calendar year, without pay, subject to the following conditions:
(a) The total days taken off for guaranteed days off shall not exceed ten (10) days.
(b) The employee shall provide a minimum of one month’s notice for blocks of five (5) days or more, and two (2) weeks’ notice for blocks of less than five (5) days.
(c) Days off in the months of June, July, August, September and December can only be taken with management’s approval.
(d) All vacation must be scheduled prior to applying for days off under this clause.
Guaranteed Days Off. .01 Guaranteed Days Off (GDO’s) shall commence at 0001 hour and shall be marked as an X on the schedule.
.02 Each Flight Attendant shall be guaranteed a minimum of nine (9) guaranteed days off per month.
.03 Where a duty period extends into a scheduled GDO by more than two (2) hours, the GDO shall be replaced and the Flight Attendant shall receive overtime for the amount of the duty period Following that two (2) hours.
.04 Overtime will apply when a crew member has less than nine (9) guaranteed days off in the 28-day block; overtime will be applied to the last day(s) worked in the block.
