Guide Program for Experienced Staff New to Chardon. Local Schools All teachers new to the Chardon Local Schools with previous teaching experience and not otherwise required to participate in the REP will be assigned a departmental teaching colleague to provide professional support. A Guide may also be assigned to this type of teacher on a case-by-case basis. A Guide and the mentee may participate in all applicable activities outlined in the REP. Guides will be compensated at the rate of $300 per mentee.
