H - PAID HOLIDAYS. H-1 The designation of paid holidays under Article 15.01 is as follows: New Year's Day Family Day (Third Monday in February) Good Friday Easter Monday Victoria Day Canada Day (July 1) Civic Holiday Labour Day Thanksgiving Day Remembrance Day Christmas Day Boxing Day Where a nurse is entitled to a lieu day as set out under Article 15.04 and 15.05, such days shall be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time within thirty (30) days prior to the holiday and thirty (30) days after the holiday or payment shall be made in accordance with Article 15.03.

H - PAID HOLIDAYS. H-1 The designation of paid holidays under Article 15.01 is as follows: New Year's Day - Jan 1 Civic Holiday Family Day – Labour Day 3rd Monday in February Thanksgiving Day Good Friday Remembrance Day - Nov 11 Easter Monday Christmas Day - Dec 25 Victoria Day Boxing Day - Dec 26 Canada Day - July 1 H-2 Where a full-time employee is entitled to a lieu day under Article 15.04 or 15.05, such day will be taken within a mutually agreed upon time. Where the full-time nurses on a department have a master schedule that includes a "xxxxxx week", the full-time nurse may take three (3) stat/lieu days at any time during the year at a mutually agreeable time provided the stat/lieu day has been earned in accordance with Article 15. Where a full-time employee is entitled to a lieu day under Article 15.04 or 15.05, such day may be taken within ninety (90) days of the holiday at a mutually agreeable time. If the lieu day is not taken within the ninety (90) days, payment shall be made in accordance with Article 15.03.

H - PAID HOLIDAYS. Such lieu day shall be by mutual agreement. If not mutually agreed, the will be paid in accordance with the CentralAgreement. Lieu days will be utilized in the order of accumulation. A tour that begins or ends during the twenty-four (24) hour period of the paid holiday where the majority of hours worked falls within the holiday shall be deemed to be work performed on the holiday for the full period of the tour. (Full-Time) The Hospitalwill endeavour to share time off on paid holidays equally among full-time (Full-Time) A request for lieu days off must be requested in writing at least one (1) week in advance of the requested time off, except in unusual circumstances. The Hospital will respond in no later than five (5) days after submission of the request. H If a part-time is scheduled to work the weekend of a paid holiday, the Hospital shall endeavour to schedule her or him to work the paid holiday.

H - PAID HOLIDAYS. It is further understood and agreed that the nurse commencing the tour of duty at hours falling on the day of the statutory holiday shall be paid at her regular straight time rate of pay for the entire tour. Full Time Lieu days as provided for in Article shall be scheduled as requested and mutually agreed upon, or, at the request of the nurse added to her vacation in the following manner:

H - PAID HOLIDAYS. H-1 The Employer agrees to recognize the following paid holidays: January 1 August Civic Holiday 3rd Monday in February Labour Day Good Friday Thanksgiving Day Victoria Day November 11 2nd Monday in June December 25 July 1 December 26 H-2 For full-time the scheduling of lieu days shall be at mutually agreeable times, but must be taken within sixty (60) days after the holiday.

H - PAID HOLIDAYS. H-1 Full-time and Part-time The following days shall be recognized as paid holidays: New Year's Day Civic Holiday Second Monday in February Labour Day Good Friday Thanksgiving Day Easter Monday Second Monday in November Victoria Day Christmas Day Canada Day/July 1 Boxing Day The Employer shall only be required to pay the premium rate for July 1.
