Heating Hot Water Plant Boilers Replacement. SIEMENS shall replace the Main Campus boilers as follows based on design documents dated 051316 in Appendix 1. Any discrepancy in written scope of work and design documents, the design documents take precedence. • Test existing flows at secondary pumps before disturbing existing hydronic systems to determine baseline conditions. Provide test, adjusting and balancing of new systems and systems affected by new construction activities. • Demolish and remove existing hot water heat exchangers. • Demolish and remove existing hot water piping and insulation as described in mechanical drawings. • The existing hot water boilers are to be decommissioned and left in place. • Any existing hot water boiler gas piping and electrical wiring is to be removed back to a safe location and terminated in a safe and workmanlike manner to meet applicable codes. • The existing primary hot water pumps are to remain operational and be left in place for future demonstration use. • A new primary pump high temperature safety shutdown switch will be installed per mechanical drawings. • New test ports will be installed in the existing primary pump piping for educational demonstration use. • Replace the two existing hot water boilers with four new condensing boilers with a design capacity of 4000 MBH each. • Install new hot water boiler package system in new mechanical space to serve existing heating system in buildings. • New boiler mechanical space to be constructed by owner prior to the installation of the Siemens furnished boilers and hot water system equipment. • Boiler flue vent will be routed up through new owner furnished mechanical space single- story roof. • Install hot water distribution piping from new boiler plant to existing building piping tie-in locations. • Install natural gas service piping with regulator and meters to the new boilers. • Flush and clean new hot water piping system before connecting new boiler system to the existing hot water piping. • Furnish and install required building Direct Digital Controls (DDC) controls to support mechanical scope equipment operation and metering.   • Generator Subject to the provisions of this Section 29.36, Tenant shall be entitled to install, operate and maintain a generator and any other equipment related thereto, including, without limitation, a fuel system, wiring and shaft space (“Generator”) next to the Building at Tenant’s sole cost and expense (without paying any additional fee or rental to Landlord for the use thereof). Prior to the installation of the Generator, Tenant shall inspect the proposed location to determine a suitable location for the Generator, and Tenant shall submit written plans and specifications relative to the type, size and proposed location (including any proposed screening) of the Generator to Landlord for its review and written approval. Tenant shall be solely responsible for the cost of acquisition, installation, operation, and maintenance of the Generator; and Tenant shall install, maintain and operate the Generator in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws, statutes, ordinances, rules and regulations, including without limitation, obtaining and maintaining any and all permits, approvals and licenses required to install and operate the Generator by any governmental authority having jurisdiction. Landlord and Tenant agree that, upon the expiration of earlier termination of the Lease Term, Tenant shall not be required to remove the Generator, any associated cabling, wiring and screening or other improvements. Tenant shall not be entitled to grant or assign to any third party (other than a permitted assignee of Tenant’s rights under the Lease or a permitted subtenant relative to the Premises (or a portion thereof)) the right to use the Generator without Landlord’s prior written consent (which consent may be granted or withheld in Landlord’s discretion). Upon reasonable advance notice to Tenant (and provided Landlord reasonably coordinates with Tenant and provides an alternate source of backup generator capacity during said transition), Landlord shall be entitled to cause the Generator to be moved to another location near the Building, at Landlord’s cost and expense. Tenant shall pay all personal property taxes on the Generator. Tenant shall also pay any increases in the real property taxes of the Building due to the installation of the Generator within thirty (30) days of receipt of notice from Landlord which includes proof of such increase in taxes. Tenant’s indemnity obligations under Section 5.4.1.5 of the Lease, relating to the use of Hazardous Materials, shall apply to the use and operation of the Generator. Finally, Tenant’s insurance obligations under Section 10.3 of the Lease shall apply to the Generator.

  • One-Way Interconnection Trunks 2.3.1 Where the Parties use One-Way Interconnection Trunks for the delivery of traffic from Onvoy to Frontier, Onvoy, at Xxxxx’s own expense, shall: 2.3.1.1 provide its own facilities for delivery of the traffic to the technically feasible Point(s) of Interconnection on Frontier’s network in a LATA; and/or 2.3.1.2 obtain transport for delivery of the traffic to the technically feasible Point(s) of Interconnection on Frontier’s network in a LATA (a) from a third party, or, (b) if Frontier offers such transport pursuant to a Frontier access Tariff, from Frontier. 2.3.2 For each Tandem or End Office One-Way Interconnection Trunk group for delivery of traffic from Onvoy to Frontier with a utilization level of less than sixty percent (60%) for final trunk groups and eighty-five percent (85%) for high usage trunk groups, unless the Parties agree otherwise, Onvoy will promptly submit ASRs to disconnect a sufficient number of Interconnection Trunks to attain a utilization level of approximately sixty percent (60%) for all final trunk groups and eighty-five percent (85%) for all high usage trunk groups. In the event Onvoy fails to submit an ASR to disconnect One-Way Interconnection Trunks as required by this Section, Frontier may disconnect the excess Interconnection Trunks or bill (and Onvoy shall pay) for the excess Interconnection Trunks at the rates set forth in the Pricing Attachment. 2.3.3 Where the Parties use One-Way Interconnection Trunks for the delivery of traffic from Frontier to Onvoy, Frontier, at Frontier’s own expense, shall provide its own facilities for delivery of the traffic to the technically feasible Point(s) of Interconnection on Frontier’s network in a LATA.

  • Network Interconnection Architecture Each Party will plan, design, construct and maintain the facilities within their respective systems as are necessary and proper for the provision of traffic covered by this Agreement. These facilities include but are not limited to, a sufficient number of trunks to the point of interconnection with the tandem company, and sufficient interoffice and interexchange facilities and trunks between its own central offices to adequately handle traffic between all central offices within the service areas at a P.01 grade of service or better. The provisioning and engineering of such services and facilities will comply with generally accepted industry methods and practices, and will observe the rules and regulations of the lawfully established tariffs applicable to the services provided.

  • Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Landlord shall furnish to the Premises heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (“HVAC”) in accordance with the Design Standards set forth in Exhibit D during Ordinary Business Hours. Landlord shall have access to all air-cooling, fan, ventilating and machine rooms and electrical closets and all other mechanical installations of Landlord (collectively, “Mechanical Installations”), and Tenant shall not construct partitions or other obstructions which may interfere with Landlord’s access thereto or the moving of Landlord’s equipment to and from the Mechanical Installations. No Tenant Party shall at any time enter the Mechanical Installations or tamper with, adjust, or otherwise affect such Mechanical Installations. Landlord shall not be responsible if the HVAC System fails to provide cooled or heated air, as the case may be, to the Premises in accordance with the Design Standards by reason of (i) any equipment installed by, for or on behalf of Tenant, which has an electrical load in excess of the average electrical load and human occupancy factors for the HVAC System as designed, or (ii) any rearrangement of partitioning or other Alterations made or performed by, for or on behalf of Tenant. Tenant shall install, if missing, blinds or shades on all windows, which blinds and shades shall be subject to Landlord’s approval, and shall keep operable windows in the Premises closed, and lower the blinds when necessary because of the sun’s position, whenever the HVAC System is in operation or as and when required by any Requirement. Tenant shall cooperate with Landlord and shall abide by the rules and regulations which Landlord may reasonably prescribe for the proper functioning and protection of the HVAC System. Tenant acknowledges that the server room in the Premises currently has three heat pumps installed, being two 4-ton units, and one 2.5-ton unit (the “Existing Heat Pumps”). The 2.5-ton unit is currently connected and operational. Tenant shall determine whether it is satisfied with the condition of the Existing Heat Pumps and Landlord shall not have any responsibility or liability for the condition, operation, maintenance, repair or replacement of the Existing Heat Pumps. Tenant may operate the Existing Heat Pumps. Tenant shall be responsible for, and pay directly for, all necessary maintenance and repairs to the Existing Heat Pumps. Tenant shall reimburse Landlord monthly for the cost of all utility services used to operate the Existing Heat Pumps within 10 Business Days after receipt of Landlord’s invoice for such amount. Landlord may measure Tenant’s usage of such utility services by either a sub-meter or by other reasonable methods such as by temporary check meters or by survey. Tenant, at its cost, may replace the Existing Heat Pumps with one or more new heat pumps, provided, however, that the capacity of such replacement heat pump(s) shall not exceed the 10.5-ton capacity cooling capacity of the Existing Heat Pumps.

  • Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities The Interconnection Customer shall design, procure, construct, install, own and/or control the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities described in Appendix A at its sole expense.
