Hire Rate Sample Clauses

Hire Rate. As full compensation for the performance by Owner of its obligations under this Charter, Hire shall accrue in accordance with this Article 8 commencing on the date and at the hour (GMT) *****. Hire shall continue to accrue until the date and hour (GMT) when the Vessel is redelivered to Owner under the terms of this Charter. Hire shall be paid at the rate (the “Hire Rate”) and in the manner provided for herein and in Schedule III.

Hire Rate. New hires will be paid on the applicable scale in Appendix B, provided that a worker is not paid more than other workers with the same or equivalent experience. After one year of service, and for each year thereafter up to the maximum number of steps, the worker shall move to the next step in the scale, except that there shall be no such step movement during the period from the effective date of this Agreement as set forth in Section 30.1 through September 30, 2001.

Employees hired after the ratification date of this Agreement will be eligible for longevity payments beginning with their 10-year anniversary date, which shall be applied to their base pay. After twenty-five (25) years of service, and each fifth (5th) year of service following the twenty-fifth (25th) year, employees will receive the 25th year longevity.
Hire Rate. The hire rate is the cost of hire per unit detailed on the Order Conformation/Tax Invoice, calculated at a daily / weekly / monthly charge.
Hire Rate. The PLB is hired in week-long (7 day) blocks at a rate of $40 per week (eg. 1 week or less $40); (8-14 days $80). If GST is imposed on the hire fee then the Hirer must pay the amount of GST at the same time as paying the hire fee.

  • Base Rate The greater of (a) the variable annual rate of interest announced from time to time by Agent at Agent's Head Office as its "prime rate" or (b) one-half of one percent (0.5%) above the Federal Funds Effective Rate (rounded upwards, if necessary, to the next one-eighth of one percent). The Base Rate is a reference rate and does not necessarily represent the lowest or best rate being charged to any customer. Any change in the rate of interest payable hereunder resulting from a change in the Base Rate shall become effective as of the opening of business on the day on which such change in the Base Rate becomes effective, without notice or demand of any kind.
