Historical Resources Sample Clauses
The Historical Resources clause defines the responsibilities and procedures related to the identification, protection, and management of historically significant artifacts or sites encountered during a project. It typically requires parties to halt work if historical resources are discovered, notify relevant authorities, and follow prescribed protocols for assessment and preservation. This clause ensures compliance with heritage laws and helps prevent accidental damage or destruction of valuable cultural assets during construction or development activities.
Historical Resources. Historical resources are cultural resources that meet the criteria for listing on the CRHR as provided at California Code of Regulations Title 14, Chapter 11.5, Section 4850 and may include, but are not limited to, any object, building, structure, site, area, place, record, or manuscript which is historically or archaeologically significant, or is significant in the architectural, engineering, scientific, economic, agricultural, educational, social, political, military, or cultural annals of California.
Historical Resources. A categorical exemption shall not be used for a project which may cause a substantial adverse change in the significance of a historical resource.
Historical Resources. The deadline for requesting a ▇▇▇▇▇ Act Agreement, through formal submittal of an application shall be March 31st of each year. The property for which the agreement is requested must have been designated a historical resource by the City of San Diego Historical Resources Board at a noticed public hearing by December 31st of the year prior to the year an agreement is requested.
Historical Resources. The State Historic Society and the State Historic Preservation Office will be contacted to identify historic properties that are listed on or eligible to be listed on the National and/or State Registers of Historic Places within the study corridor.

If the remains are determined to be Native American, guidelines of the Native American Heritage Commission shall be adhered to in the treatment and disposition of the remains (Final EIR Mitigation Measure CR-1).
Historical Resources. Carefully protect in-place and report immediately to the Contracting Officer historical and archaeological items or human skeletal remains discovered in the course of work. Stop work in the immediate area of the discovery until directed by the Contracting Officer to resume work. The Government retains ownership and control over historical and archaeological resources.

It is anticipated the Project would remain within the City’s ROW and would not require permanent ROW acquisitions or TCEs from any properties with a historical resource or landmark. In addition, the Project would comply with CEQA Guidelines Section 15064.5 which specify the procedures to be followed in case of the discovery of human remains on non-federal land. Therefore, the Project would not result in adverse changes in the significance of a historical resource, and this exception would not apply.
