Common use of Holiday Accrual Clause in Contracts

Holiday Accrual. Compensatory time off in lieu of holidays earned after the effective date of this Agreement shall be recorded in a leave category to be known as Holiday Leave.

Subject to the rules governing the granting of annual leave, an employee shall be given the opportunity to exhaust such time within a year of its accrual, or prior to separation from service, whichever comes first.
