Hours - Continuous Work Shifts. 68.2.1 This clause shall apply to shift workers on continuous work as hereinbefore defined.
68.2.2 The ordinary hours of work for such shift workers shall be 38 per week averaged over one complete cycle of the roster and shall not exceed:
(a) eight hours in any one day; nor
(b) 48 hours in any one week; nor
(c) 88 hours in fourteen consecutive days; nor
(d) 152 hours in 28 consecutive days.
68.2.3 Subject to the following conditions such shift workers shall work at such times as the employer may require:
(a) a shift shall consist of not more than eight hours, inclusive of crib time;
(b) except at the regular change over shifts an employee shall not be required to work more than one shift in each twenty-four hours;
(c) twenty minutes shall be allowed to shift-workers each shift for crib which shall be counted as time worked.
Hours - Continuous Work Shifts. This subclause will apply to shift workers on continuous work as hereinbefore defined.
(a) The ordinary hours of such shift workers will not exceed: • Eight in any one day; nor • 48 in any one week; nor • 88 in fourteen consecutive days; nor • 152 in 28 consecutive days.
(b) Subject to the following conditions such shift workers will work at such times as the employer may require: • A shift will consist of not more than eight hours, inclusive of crib time; • Except at the regular change-over of shifts an employee will not be required to work more than one shift in each 24 hours; • Twenty minutes will be allowed to shift workers each shift for crib which will be counted as time worked.
Hours - Continuous Work Shifts. 4.4.2.1 This sub-Clause applies to shift workers engaged on continuous work.
4.4.2.2 The ordinary hours of shift workers are based on the classification an employee works and will not exceed 4 times the ordinary weekly hours in 28 consecutive days. An exception to this is where XxxxxxxxXX and the majority of employees concerned agree, a roster system may operate on the basis that the weekly average of 37.5 or 38.0 ordinary hours is achieved over a period which exceeds 28 consecutive days.
4.4.2.3 Shift workers must work at such times as ForestrySA may require. However, the following conditions apply:
(a) A shift must consist of not more than 10 hours except as provided for in sub-Clause 4.4.2.3 (c), however, in any arrangement of ordinary working hours where the ordinary working hours are to exceed 8 on any shift, the arrangement of hours will be subject to the agreement of ForestrySA and the majority of employees concerned.
(b) Except at the regular change-over of shifts, an employee must not be
(c) By agreement between ForestrySA, the Association(s) and the majority of employees concerned, ordinary hours not exceeding 12 on any day may be worked subject to;
(i) ForestrySA and the employees concerned being guided by the Occupational Health and Safety provisions of the ACTU Code of Conduct on 12 hour shifts;
(ii) Appropriate health monitoring procedures being introduced;
(iii) Suitable roster arrangements being made; and (iv) Proper supervision being provided.

The ordinary hours of shift workers shall average 38 per week inclusive of crib time and shall not exceed 152 hours in twenty eight consecutive days. Provided that, where the Company and the majority of employees concerned agree, a roster system may operate on the basis that the weekly average of 38 ordinary hours is achieved over a period which exceeds 28 consecutive days. Subject to the following conditions such shift workers shall work at such times as the Company may require. A shift shall consist of not more than 10 hours inclusive of crib time. Provided that:
(i) in any arrangement of ordinary hours where the ordinary working hours are to exceed 8 on any shift the arrangement of hours shall be subject to the agreement of the Company and the majority of employees concerned.
(ii) by agreement between the Company, the Consultative Committee, the Unions and the majority of employees in the plant, work section or sections concerned, ordinary hours not exceeding twelve on any day may be worked subject to: • the employer and the employees concerned being guided by recognised occupational health and safety provisions for 12 hour shifts; • proper health and monitoring procedures being introduced; • suitable roster arrangements being made; and • proper supervision being provided.
(iii) except at the regular change over of shifts, an employee shall not be required to work more than one shift in each twenty four hours.
(iv) twenty minutes shall be allowed to shift workers each shift for crib which shall be counted as time worked.

Provided that: In any arrangement of ordinary working hours where the ordinary working hours are to exceed ten on any shift the arrangement of hours shall be discussed with Employees. Issues to be discussed will include: • Proper health and monitoring procedures being introduced • Suitable roster arrangements being made • Proper supervision being provided • An adequate trial or review process being implemented
(ii) Except at the regular changeover of shifts, an Employee shall not be required to work more than one shift in each 24 hours.
(iii) Twenty minutes shall be allowed to shift workers each shift for crib which shall be counted as time worked.

The ordinary hours of shift workers shall average 38 hours per week inclusive of crib time and shall not exceed 152 hours in 28 consecutive days. Provided that, where the Company and the majority of Employees concerned agree, a roster system may operate on the basis that the weekly average of 38 ordinary hours is achieved over a period which exceeds 28 consecutive days. Subject to the provisions of this sub clause, shift workers shall work at such times as the Company may require.
21.1.2 A shift shall consist of not more than ten (10) hours inclusive of crib time, provided that:
a) in any arrangement of ordinary working hours where the ordinary working hours are to exceed eight (8) hours on any shift the arrangement of hours shall be subject to the agreement of the Company and the majority of Employees concerned.
b) By agreement between the Company, and the majority of Employees in the plant, work section or sections concerned, ordinary hours not exceeding twelve (12) hours on any day may be worked subject to: ● proper health monitoring procedures being introduced; ● suitable roster arrangements being made; ● proper supervision being provided; ● adequate breaks being provided; ● an adequate trial or review process being implemented.
21.1.3 Except at the regular change-over of shifts, an Employee shall not be required to work more than one shift in each 24 hours.

Provided that where the number of ordinary working hours to be worked on one day exceeds eight (8), agreement shall be reached between the employer, employees and the Union where requested. • Except at the regular changeover of shifts, an employee shall not be required to work more than one shift in each twenty-four hours. • Twenty minutes shall be allowed to shift workers each shift for crib time which shall be counted as time worked.
Hours - Continuous Work Shifts. The ordinary working hours of shift workers employed on continuous work shall be an average of thirty-eight per week. Such ordinary working hours:
(a) shall not exceed one hundred and fifty-two in any work cycle, and
(b) except where a majority of employees and the Union Delegates and the Company agree to exceed 8 hours ordinary hours on any day to enable an RDO to be taken per month, working hours shall not exceed: - eight in one day, nor - forty eight in any week, nor - eighty-eight in any fourteen consecutive days, nor - one hundred and twenty-eight in any twenty-one consecutive days.
