If an employee is required by the Employer to take a house convenience leave day, or volunteers to take a house convenience leave day required by the Employer, then the employee may choose to take time off without pay in lieu of PTO. A house convenience leave day includes holidays where employees who are otherwise regularly scheduled for that day are taken off the schedule.
