Housing Assignments and Preferences. The University encourages diversity and complies with all applicable antidiscrimination laws. The University does not discriminate and will not approve, alter, or allow any housing assignment based upon illegal considerations regarding race, color, gender, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, religion, citizenship, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or genetic information.

Housing Assignments and Preferences. University Residences endeavors to assign students to housing based upon the housing preference of the individual student; however, a specific housing assignment based upon the student’s preference is not guaranteed or implied. Assignments are made with the following priority in mind: o Student Accommodations o Academic (Learning Communities, etc.) o Personal Preferences o Roommate Requests o Space Availability While University Residences will consider all roommate requests, such requests are not guaranteed and are dependent on space availability. It is possible roommate requests will be assigned together but, in a triple, quad, quad plus or apartment with additional residents. University Residences’ inability to honor housing preferences or preliminary room/apartment assignments shall not constitute a breach of this contract, and Resident is not permitted to cancel or terminate this contract if Resident’s housing preference is not met. University Residences reserves the right to change room/apartment assignments for any reason deemed appropriate, at the sole discretion of University Residences. University Residences reserves the right to reassign a student and/or to increase or decrease the occupancy of rooms.
Housing Assignments and Preferences. Resident is not entitled to a housing assignment and their placement in an apartment or residence hall is contingent upon available space. Resident shall accept any placement assigned by the University, including temporary space.

  • Teaching Assignments No employee shall be assigned to teach in a grade level and/or subject area not within the scope of his/her teaching certificate, except where a position within his/her certification is unavailable or when mutually agreed to by the affected employee and principal, or when determined necessary by the principal. Employees assigned to positions outside the scope of their certificates shall be assigned as soon as possible to positions for which they hold certification.
