Common use of Incidental Procedure Clause in Contracts

Incidental Procedure. (1) An incidental procedure is one carried out at the same time as a more complex primary procedure and which requires little additional Physician resources and/or is clinically integral to the performance of the primary procedure. (2) The Allowable Charge for the primary procedure includes coverage for the incidental procedure(s). If the primary procedure is not covered, any incidental procedure(s) will not be covered.
