Common use of Indemnification by United States Government in Lieu of Insurance Clause in Contracts

Indemnification by United States Government in Lieu of Insurance. Notwithstanding any provision of this Section 7.06 requiring insurance, in lieu of insurance against any risk with respect to the Aircraft, indemnification from, or insurance provided by, the United States government, or any agency or instrumentality thereof, against such risk in an amount which, when added to the amount of insurance maintained against such risk by Company (or, if a Lease is then in effect, by the Permitted Lessee), shall be at least equal to the amount of insurance against such risk otherwise required by this Section 7.06 (taking into account self-insurance permitted by Section 7.06(d)) shall be considered adequate insurance for purposes of this Section 7.06.
