Common use of Independent Grievances Clause in Contracts

Independent Grievances. A bargaining unit member has the right to present a grievance to the University, and have it adjusted without the involvement of the Union or Union representatives if the adjustment is consistent with the terms of the Agreement and the Union was given the opportunity to have a representative present at such a hearing and/or adjustment.

Independent Grievances.
