INDEPENDENT REVIEWS. 2.5.1 CM shall conduct independent reviews when and as required by the University, pursuant to written Authorization(s) issued by University.
INDEPENDENT REVIEWS. 2.12.1 This Project is subject to an independent design review conducted by University and at University’s expense. Design Professional shall cooperate with this design review. As part of the review, Design Professional shall present the current status of the design. INDEPENDENT REVIEWS. FHWA may conduct independent reviews that could include program reviews/product evaluations and continuous process improvement initiatives. These reviews will be done in consultation with CDOT. The review topics will be different from the QIC risk response strategies, audit, and performance measurement reviews issues chosen on an annual basis as previously discussed. In addition to FHWA oversight activities, stewardship activities will include technical assistance, technology deployment, performance measurement, and sharing best practices. Notwithstanding any provision of this S&O Agreement, FHWA retains overall responsibility for all aspects of Federal-aid programs and this S&O Agreement does not preclude FHWA’s access to and review of any Federal-aid project at any time and does not replace the provisions of Title 23.

INDEPENDENT REVIEWS. 2.8.1. This Project is subject to independent design reviews conducted by the District and at the District's expense. The Design Consultant shall participate in these design reviews including without limitation: Constructability Review and/or Value Engineering of the Design Documents. 2.8.2. The Design Consultant shall have an obligation to incorporate into the Design Documents any and all Value Engineering and Constructability Review comments into the Project Design Documents that are approved and accepted by the District, unless doing so would result in a violation of Applicable Laws or the Standard of Care. Except as set forth in Article 3, such changes shall be made with no additional compensation or reimbursement. Should the Design Consultant deem changes would be a violation of Applicable Laws, they shall immediately notify the District in writing citing the code section number and violation. 2.8.3. District shall have the right, but not the obligation, to have an independent cost estimate conducted by an estimator designated by the District and at the District’s expense. The Design Consultant shall be available to answer the estimator's questions regarding the design and to attend meetings
INDEPENDENT REVIEWS. The Project is subject to independent design reviews conducted by the Owner or consultants retained by the Owner at the Owner’s expense. The Architect shall cooperate with these design reviews. The Architect shall, as part of Basic Services, prepare written responses to the written review comments and shall make changes to the design documents responsive only to those comments that the Architect reasonably deems to require such changes. If the Architect does not deem a comment to require a change, the Architect shall so state in the written response to the comment, providing reasons why no change should be implemented. Should the Owner decide to make changes to the design or the Project based on independent reviews of the design, such changes will be subject to the other relevant Sections of this Agreement.
