Informal Attempt to Resolve. An individual supervisory employee who has a grievance shall discuss it first with his/her immediate supervisor in an attempt to resolve the matter informally. However, if the grievant is the Association, the initial discussion shall be at the level of the Assistant Superintendent, or his/her designee; and, in such event, if the problem is not resolved to the satisfaction of the Association within ten (10) work days after the conclusion of the discussion, the procedures prescribed in the subsections of this Section B shall become applicable.
