Information Quality. 1. Each Party recognizes the need to base regulations upon information that is reliable and of high quality. To that end, each Party should adopt or maintain publicly available guidance or mechanisms that encourage its regulatory authorities when developing a regulation to:
(a) seek the best, reasonably obtainable information, including scientific, technical, economic, or other information relevant to the regulation it is developing;
(b) rely on information that is appropriate for the context in which it is used; and
(c) identify sources of information in a transparent manner, as well as any significant assumptions and limitations.
2. If a regulatory authority systematically collects information from members of the public through identical questions in a survey for use in developing a regulation, each Party shall provide that the authority should:
(a) use sound statistical methodologies before drawing generalized conclusions concerning the impact of the regulation on the population affected by the regulation; and
(b) avoid unnecessary duplication and otherwise minimize unnecessary burdens on those being surveyed.
Information Quality. If it becomes apparent over a period of time that the estimates of the changes do not reasonably reflect the actual changes, then the representatives will meet to discuss the relevant data with a view to improving the accuracy of such estimates in future. If reasonably requested by NGN, the DFO will use its reasonable endeavours to co-operate in the provision of additional information to NGN regarding DFN changes in any analysis of the balancing of the System.
Information Quality. Each Party, through its Designated Representative, shall adopt or maintain publicly available guidance or mechanisms that encourage regulatory authorities, when developing a regulation, to:
Information Quality. 10.1 Partner organisations are individually responsible for the quality of the data under their control in line with their respective Data Quality and Record Management policies.
10.2 When receiving information, partner organisations are responsible for applying relevant quality checks before using the information. If the information is found to be inaccurate, it is the responsibility of the organisation discovering the inaccuracy to notify the relevant partner.
10.3 Both partner organisations have a responsibility to ensure that all information is adequate, relevant and not excessive for the purpose of processing it.
Information Quality. If it becomes apparent over a period of time that the estimates of the changes do not reasonably reflect the actual changes, then the representatives will meet to discuss the relevant data with a view to improving the accuracy of such estimates in future. If reasonably requested by National Grid, the DFO will use its reasonable endeavours to co- operate in the provision of additional information to National Grid regarding DFN changes in any analysis of the balancing of the System.
Information Quality. Lesaka will take reasonable steps to ensure that all personal information collected is complete, accurate and not misleading. Where personal information is collected or received from third parties, Xxxxxx will take reasonable steps to confirm that the information is correct by verifying the accuracy of the information directly with the data subject or by way of independent sources. Xxxxxx may not always expressly request the data subject to verify and update his/her/its personal information unless this process is specifically necessary. Xxxxxx, however, expects that the data subject will notify Xxxxxx from time to time in writing of any updates required in respect of his/her/its personal information.
Information Quality. 11.1 Information quality needs to be of a standard fit for the purpose information is to be used for, including being complete, accurate and as up to date as required for the purposes for which it is being shared. Without this any decision made on the information may be flawed and inappropriate actions may result. Partner Organisations are expected to ensure that the Personal Data and Sensitive Personal Data that it holds is processed in accordance with DPA principles: this includes ensuring that the Data is accurate, complete and up-to-date and is not kept any longer than is necessary.
11.2 Where Partner Organisations share information under this Protocol it is expected that Partner Organisations will either have an Information Quality Strategy and the supporting processes and procedures in place or be formally working towards this.
11.3 All Partner Organisations are expected to give undertakings that information meets a reasonable quality level for the proposed purposes for which it is being shared and be able to evidence this.
11.4 It is expected that all partner organisations will have or be working towards an organisational Information Quality Strategy. In generating and maintaining this policy due regard should be paid to the Information Quality Assurance Strategy.
Information Quality. The Data Discloser will ensure Personal Information is accurate and that it has appropriate internal procedures in place for the Data Receiver to sample the Personal Information and it will update it if required prior to transferring the Personal Information.
Information Quality. If it becomes apparent over a period of time that the estimates of the changes do not reasonably reflect the actual changes, then the representatives will meet to discuss the relevant data with a view to improving the accuracy of such estimates in the future. If reasonably requested by National Grid Gas, IUK will use reasonable endeavours to co- operate in the provision of additional information to National Grid Gas regarding DFN and/or OPN changes to assist in any analysis of the balancing of the National Grid Gas System. Similarly, if it becomes apparent over a period of time that the reasons provided by National Grid Gas on a TFA or OFA do not provide IUK with sufficient detail in order to submit a revised OPN, then representatives will meet to discuss the relevant information with a view to providing reasons that do provide IUK with sufficient detail.
Information Quality. If it becomes apparent over a period of time that the estimates of the changes to the SFN do not reasonably reflect the actual changes, then the Transco Shift Representative and the Storage Facility representative will meet to discuss the relevant data with a view to improving the accuracy of such estimates in future.
