Common use of Inspection During Construction Clause in Contracts

Inspection During Construction. 8.5.1 Contractor shall provide sufficient, safe, and proper facilities, including equipment as necessary for safe access, at all reasonable times for observation and/or inspection of the Work by Owner and its agents. 8.5.2 Contractor shall not cover up any Work with finishing materials or other building components prior to providing Owner and its agents an opportunity to perform an inspection of the Work. 8.5.2.1 Should corrections of the Work be required for approval, Contractor shall not over up corrected Work until Owner indicates approval. 8.5.2.2 Contractor shall provide notification of at least five (5) working days or otherwise as mutually agreed, to ODR of the anticipated need for a cover-up inspection.
