Common use of Inspection of insurance policies Clause in Contracts

Inspection of insurance policies. 16.6.1 Whenever requested by the Council, the Contractor must produce evidence (to the satisfaction of the Council) of the insurances effected and maintained by the Contractor pursuant to this clause. 16.6.2 If the Contractor fails to do so, the Council may effect and maintain any such insurance and pay the premiums. The amount paid is a debt due from the Contractor to the Council.
