INSTRUCTIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. A. All teachers are expected and required to take part in planned self-improvement activities, as determined by teachers with the approval of the administrative staff, the Superintendent and/or the School Board. Such activities shall be primarily for the purposes of correcting deficiencies in teacher certification, extension of certificates, additional coverage, and general improvement of the total school program.
