Common use of Interest for overdue moneys Clause in Contracts

Interest for overdue moneys. Any amount due under this Agreement but unpaid by the due date incurs interest at the rate prescribed under section 227A of the Local Government Act 1989 and any payment made shall be first directed to payment of interest and then the principal amount owing.
