Invited to Attend. When an employee is invited by the University, but not required, to attend a meeting pursuant to their authorized representation on behalf of the Union, they shall receive pay for the meeting if it occurs at a time when they would otherwise have worked. If the meeting occurs at a time when the employee would not otherwise have worked, they shall not receive pay for attending the meeting.
