Involuntary Absence Due to Quarantine or Other Health Emergency. When it becomes necessary to close schools for non-weather related emergencies, hazardous conditions, pandemic or other acts of God, classified employees will not be required to report for work. The District will comply with all state and/or federal guidelines resulting from this act and reserves the right to make up missed work days not to exceed employee regular yearly calendar days. If additional days are required, the superintendent will work with, and in consultation with, the Association to schedule any additional time or compensation.
