Common use of JOB SITE TRANSPORTATION Clause in Contracts

JOB SITE TRANSPORTATION. Whenever, because of remoteness of parking areas, hazardous road conditions, or security restrictions, and it is necessary for the Employer to furnish transportation for employees within the job site to the place of their work, the project management and representative of the Union shall meet to discuss any special conditions surrounding such personnel-haul operations. When the Employer furnishes such transportation to the employee without cost to them, the equipment shall include seats and protection from the elements, and definite pick-up and discharge points shall be determined. If there are more than 30 minutes in time consumed from pick-up points to work site, the employee shall be paid for any time over 30 minutes. If there are more than 30 minutes’ time consumed from work site to pick-up points, the employee shall be paid for the full amount of time spent in travel from work site to pick-up point at their regular rate.
