Common use of Joint Payments Clause in Contracts

Joint Payments. To the extent necessary to protect the Authority from Claims, the Authority may make payment by joint payment to the Trade Contractor and the Subcontractors and Suppliers for Trade Contractor Work performed by such Subcontractors and Suppliers. Payments by the Authority shall not constitute approval or acceptance of any item of cost in the Application for Payment.
