Common use of Joint Sharing and Use of Evaluations and Assessments Clause in Contracts

Joint Sharing and Use of Evaluations and Assessments. If a student with a disability who is not served by special education applies to receive VR services and signs an authorization for release of information to the LEA in which she/he is enrolled, the LEA, upon availability, will provide available assessment information. If the student is under the age of 18 and is not an emancipated minor, the parent must sign the authorization. This information will be used to the greatest degree possible by the DOR to determine eligibility and for comprehensive assessment related to the development of the IPE.
