KEY TERMS AND DEFINITIONS. CONTRACT: means this COMPONENT SERVICE CONTRACT. It is a CONTRACT between YOU and US. • WE, US, OUR, DEALER, MANUFACTURER: means the Provider issuing this CONTRACT • YOU, YOUR, CONTRACT HOLDER: means the owner of the COMPONENT listed in the ADI certificate. •
KEY TERMS AND DEFINITIONS. Our Promise: California State Employees Giving at Work (OP) - Also known as “Campaign,” “the campaign” and “State Employees Campaign.” The Department of General Services (DGS) - The State agency responsible for regulatory oversight and administration of the OP. Department (also known as State agency) - A department, board, commission, agency or any other formal organization within the State of California government structure. Principal Combined Fund Drive (PCFD) - An organization responsible for managing the State employee’s campaign in a specified geographic region. PCFDs are selected by the DGS on an annual basis. State Controller’s Office (SCO) - The State agency responsible for processing, deducting, and paying out payroll deductions for employees of the State of California. The SCO also prints reports(?) and pledge forms. Regional Coordinators – Volunteers assigned to a specific geographical area and report directly to the Statewide Department Campaign Chair.
KEY TERMS AND DEFINITIONS. Role A named part that can be played by a service’s agent in a system. Obligation A statement that an agent playing a given role should do something. Prohibition A statement that an agent playing a given role should not do something.

The ADMINISTRATOR has no liability to YOU. The ADMINISTRATOR of this contract is Xxxxx General Corporation (“GGC”).

KEY TERMS AND DEFINITIONS. 1.1. References within this document to ‘Resident’ are references to the person named within the Agreement who is to receive the accommodation, personal care and (where necessary) nursing care.
1.2. References within this document to ‘‘Client, Client’s Next of Kin’ or ‘Client’s Representative’ are references to the party to the Agreement who enters into the Agreement to pay our fees in consideration for provision of services under this Agreement to the ‘Resident’.
1.3. References within this document to ‘Care Home’ are references to the premises where the Client will reside and receive personal and/or nursing care.
1.4. References within this document to ‘Total Fees’ is the amount the Company will charge and the amount the Client has agreed to pay for the provision of accommodation and personal/nursing care set out in the Agreement for the Provision of Accommodation and Care Services.
1.5. References within this document to ‘the Agreement’ refer to the Agreement for the Provision of Accommodation and Care Services.
KEY TERMS AND DEFINITIONS. A. Extensions: Extensions may be granted on a case-by-case basis for the fall and spring semesters depending on students' needs and teacher availability. Extensions will not exceed 2-weeks in duration and are not guaranteed. Extensions are not available for on-demand courses.
C. Transferable Skills - Self-Direction / Clear and Effective Communication are assessed in each course.
1. Clear and Effective Communication: Students communicate clearly and express themselves creatively for a variety of purposes using the platforms, tools, styles, formats and digital media appropriate to their goals.
2. Self-Direction: Students leverage technology to take an active role in choosing, achieving and demonstrating competency in their learning goals, informed by the learning sciences.
D. Exceptional Learners (see Attachment 1 for Example Accommodations) are provided in collaboration with the school and may not encompass all listed accommodations as outlined in the student’s IEP/504/EST plan documents due to the nature of online learning. The schoolis required to upload all enrolled student IEP/504/EST plans and accommodations in the VTVLC SIS (Genius) as part of the student enrollment request process, but no later than 10 days after the start of the course/segment.
