Leave to Attend Part-time Courses. An employee who is taking approved part-time job related courses may require time off to attend such courses when they are scheduled during their normal working hours. Permission may be granted for an employee to be absent with pay to 1/2 day per week for this purpose, provided the employee can be spared and their absence does not involve extra costs to the Company in terms of overtime or the hiring of additional staff.

  • Regular Part-Time Employees A regular part-time employee is one who works less than full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.

  • Court Attendance Any employee covered by this Agreement who may be required to attend any commission, court or hearing, to give evidence in any case, civil or criminal respecting the hotel in which they are employed, shall be compensated at the same hourly rate as called for in this Agreement, with a minimum of four (4) hours pay.
