Length of Term. The term of this Agreement shall extend from the Effective Date through May 8, 2014 (“Term”) unless terminated earlier in accordance with the terms herein. On May 8, 2013 and on each subsequent May 8th through and including May 8, 2017, the end date of the Term shall automatically be extended by one (1) additional year, unless either party has previously provided written notice to the other party to not so extend the Term. Once such notice has been provided, then the Term shall no longer be extended on any following May 8th. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, this Agreement shall in all cases expire no later than (and cannot be extended beyond) May 8, 2019. Upon expiration of the Term due to either party’s providing written notice to not extend the Term, then your employment with the Company shall terminate (if not terminated earlier in accordance with the terms herein) as of the end of the Term. The terms of Sections 5 and 7 through 15 shall survive any termination or expiration of this Agreement or of your employment.
Length of Term. Teacher Induction Support Providers will serve an annual term based on satisfactory annual review of documentation by the superintendent or his/her designee. Support providers may reapply for consecutive terms.
Length of Term. The term of this Lease shall be for a period of fifteen (15) years plus the partial calendar month, if any, occurring after the Commencement Date (as hereinafter defined) if the Commencement Date occurs other than on the first day of a calendar month.
Length of Term i. Full-time faculty representatives on the dismissal review committee shall be elected to a three-year term.
ii. The terms of the regularly elected representatives shall commence on October 1 of the year in which they are elected and shall expire on September 30 of the year in which their term expires, but shall continue until their successors are elected.
iii. The initially elected representatives shall draw lots for a one-, two- or three-year term. When a vacancy occurs in one or more of the unexpired terms, the Vice President of Instruction and the Association President shall convene the full-time faculty as soon as possible in order to elect a representative to fill the unexpired term. No faculty member shall succeed himself/herself until at least a one-year interval has elapsed.
iv. The District President shall appoint the administrative representatives prior to October 1 of each academic year and shall set the date that the dismissal review committee shall meet for organization. The terms of the administrative representatives shall commence on October 1 of the year in which they are appointed and shall expire on September 30 of the year in which their term expires and shall continue until their successors are appointed.

Length of Term. 29.2.1 The term of the Chairperson shall be two (2) years. A chairperson can serve at most for two (2) consecutive terms or four (4) years.
29.2.2 New Department Chairs will participate in a brief training to review the responsibilities of the position, create a problem-solving agenda for the department and cultivate the leadership strengths necessary to successfully carry out the assigned duties. The training will include new chairs, the Vice President of Academic Affairs, and the Supervising Administrator.
