Length of TimeUpon mutual agreement, a substitute teacher may be hired to substitute for the teacher-in-charge if the administrator is out for a full day or more. The district or site, depending upon the reason for the principal’s absence, will cover the cost of the substitute.

  • Length of Leave Paid parental leaves of absence of up to six (6) consecutive weeks shall be granted to eligible state employees who request such leave following the birth or adoption of a child.

  • Devotion of Time The Directors shall not be obligated and shall not be expected to devote all of their time or business efforts to the affairs of the Company (except, to the extent appropriate, in their capacity as employees of the Company).

  • Calculation of Time Periods Except as otherwise indicated, all periods of time referred to herein shall include all Saturdays, Sundays and holidays; provided, however, that if the date to perform the act or give any notice with respect to this Agreement shall fall on a day other than a Business Day, such act or notice may be timely performed or given if performed or given on the next succeeding Business Day.

  • Extension of Time Any period with in which a Party shall, pursuant to this Contract, complete any action or task, shall be extended for a period equal to the time during which such Party was unable to perform such action as a result of Force Majeure.

  • Length of Probationary Period For all classifications, with the exception of those specified in 1801-B, the probationary period is 1,040 compensable hours exclusive of overtime. If federal, state or local law requires a longer probationary period, such law shall prevail.
