Litter Collection. 4.3.1 The Grounds Maintenance team is not responsible for the collection of litter.
Litter Collection. During the months of May, June, July and August, an employee of the Parks Branch may have a work week from Wednesday to Sunday inclusive with two (2) consecutive days off. On Saturday and Sunday, (1) the work shall consist of parks litter collection and cleaning duties, (2) the work hours may commence at 9:30 a.m. and (3) the rate of pay shall be at the rate of the Schedule "B" classification of Litter Collector ‐ Parks. Shift differential shall be paid for those hours which attract a premium in accordance with Article 4.7. PARK RANGER: Employees in these positions covered by these classes may work any five (5) days of the seven (7) days per week with two (2) consecutive days off. The daily eight (8) hours of work will be worked between the period of 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Snow clearance and gritting will be undertaken in defined areas of the City The Council aims to remove fly tipped item from Council owned land within 5 working days or within 1 day where the offence causes an obstruction or is considered dangerous and abandoned vehicles within 48 hours (following the issuing of a seven-day removal notice) subject to a DVLA check. On areas of agreed green open space within Coventry BID Area the Council will maintain the grass on a 10 working day cycle with the cuttings collected. The Council has powers to issue Fixed Penalty Notices of £75 for minor acts of littering, including dumped rubbish, fly-posting and dog fouling. The Council also has powers to prosecute those people and companies who cause more serious graffiti and littering offences, with maximum fines of up to £1,000.
Litter Collection. Director has determined the need to efficiently remove litter and prevent it from becoming a community eyesore, decreasing neighborhood property values, posing a safety hazard, providing a breeding ground for disease carrying rodents, insects, and other vermin, and in general, lowering the quality of life for residents. This service is not a Sweep of the entire Service Area but rather an as-needed service. CONTRACTOR shall provide all necessary equipment and temporary Containers including brooms ▇▇▇▇▇, shovels, bags, or Dumpsters to Collect, transport, and Dispose of litter in the following circumstances: • As requested by Director • Upon observation by CONTRACTOR, when requested by Director to provide this service Examples include a pile of Refuse on the sidewalk or an undeveloped portion of land within the Public Right-of-Way. CONTRACTOR shall Collect litter within 48 hours of request by Director and submit before and after photos to Director along with the monthly invoices for County Services. CONTRACTOR may also Collect large piles of Refuse it observes and submit before and after photos. Litter Collection under this section does not include litter already required to be Collected near Bulky Items, alleys, public curbside receptacles, or Homeless Encampment Containers. CONTRACTOR shall use the Director’s Trash Monitoring Program (TMP) smartphone application, or other system as determined by Director, to record information such as the location, brief description, and photograph of Collected Solid Waste.

Litter Collection. 5.3.1 The Grounds team is not responsible for the collection of litter. The team will however collect litter from the areas in which they are working.
Litter Collection before each cutting operation, the Contractor shall remove from each site all litter including, but not limited to, paper, bottles cans, broken glass, large stones and all miscellaneous debris that may cause damage to the mowing equipment or injury to users of the park. All debris shall be collected together and disposed of as appropriate off site.
Litter Collection. Litter shall be collected by Contractor prior to each mowing. This includes but not limited to turf, sidewalks, parking lots, and along fence lines. Limbs piled up next to trees will not be acceptable. All must be removed from site at each mowing. The Contractor, as part of this Contract, shall remove from site and properly dispose of all litter collected.
