Common use of Livelihood Security Clause in Contracts

Livelihood Security. (i) capacity building for developing social services for populations in rural and peri‑urban areas; (ii) improving total household income from agricultural production through diversification, adding value, off-farm employment and the adoption of new sustainable agricultural technologies, among others, in the EAC Partner State(s) (iii) increasing productivity of the agricultural sector within the EAC Partner State(s); and (iv) increasing the use of sustainable agricultural technologies.
