LOAD TESTING. LOAD TEST OF STRUCTURAL CONCRETE. 1 In case of doubts regarding grade of concrete used either due to poor workmanship or based on results of cube strength tests, the load testing of any part of the structure will have to be carried out by the Contractor at his own cost.

LOAD TESTING. The Engineer in charge is empowered to order load testing of the building or its component wherever there is a doubt about the workmanship or the safety of the bridge component or whenever there is a need to confirm the workmanship and the safety of the structure by carrying the load test. The load testing shall be carried out as per specifications B.R. 58 of the book of standard specifications published by B & C Department, Govt. of Maharashtra, with such specifications as ordered by Engineer in charge. (1) The load for such load test shall be full dead load (excluding self load of the member under test) plus 125 % maximum design live load (including impact) in case of X.X. xxxxxxx. (2) The load testing will be carried out by the department through a suitable competent agency. Test results from such agency as will be fixed by department will be binding on the contractor. (3) If the result of the load test are not found to be satisfactory, the contractor shall strengthen the already cast member or reconstruct the members at his cost and also bear the cost of load test. The decision of the Engineer in charge will be final in this case.

LOAD TESTING. 2.7.1 After carrying out the annual servicing and maintenance of the crane and satisfactory completion of the written report, each crane shall be load tested to SWL in the presence of the concern user facility Engineer-in-charge and Divisional Safety Focal point following the checklist. Mobilization of dead weights for load testing from facility to facility will be at contractor scope. However, the department will play a prime responsibility on supply/arrange the dead weights required for the load testing and industrial heavy vehicles, dead weights/concrete blocks, forklift, hydra, scissor lift, height raisers, trucks/trailers, slings/belts etc. for transporting dead weights from facility to facility, yard to facility and arranging industrial vehicles by respective user facility as per checklist and contractor has to extend supporting works without extra cost. However, on non-availability of department vehicles contractor shall operate the separate clause for the arranging suitable industrial heavy vehicles for handling dummy loads from yard to respective facilities as per Annexure-C.2. ie., if department vehicle is not in position to make use due to various reasons, the hired vehicle by contractor to be put in operation to eliminate delay in work. 2.7.2 The minimum tools and accessories required to carry out the load test as given in the following list have to be brought by the contractor for each work centre. a. LOAD TESTING. The Contractor will increase the load on the Contractor’s System via automated tools as part of Performance Testing. The load is defined in terms of concurrent Users or HTTP connections and the associated traffic that can concurrently produce. Performance testing uses load testing techniques and tools for measurement and benchmarking purposes and uses various load levels. Load testing operates at a predefined load level, the highest load that the system can accept, while still functioning properly.

LOAD TESTING. Load and performance testing in the Supplier’s production environment done by the Customer is prohibited. Exceptions might be granted after special agreements with the Supplier in advance. Please apply for approval in good time before the test(s) will take place, and a minimum of 10 days. Not notifying the Supplier of such tests, might result in the temporary disabling of the Customer’s account.

LOAD TESTING. The Company shall cooperate with Acquirer, including providing access to its systems and technical personnel, and to take or cause to be taken, all actions, and to do, or cause to be done, all actions necessary to enable Acquirer to undertake and complete its load testing with respect to the Company Products and use reasonable efforts to implement any changes to the Company Products requested by Acquirer in connection therewith.
