Maternity and/or Parental. Leave and/or Pre-Adoption Leave Allowance Repayment (a) To be entitled to the maternity, parental, benefit waiting period and/or pre-adoption leave allowances pursuant to Clauses 21.04 (Benefit Waiting Period Allowance), 21.05 (Maternity Leave Allowance), 21.06 (Parental Leave Allowance) and/or 21.07 (Pre-Placement Adoption Leave), an employee must sign an agreement that they will return to work and remain in the Employer’s employ for a period of at least six (6) months or equivalent to the leaves taken, whichever is longer, after their return to work. (b) Should the employee fail to return to work and remain in the employ of the Employer for the return to work period in (a) above, the employee shall reimburse the Employer for the maternity, parental, benefit waiting period and/or pre-adoption leave allowance received under Clauses 21.04, 21.05, 21.06, and/or 21.07 above on a pro-rata basis.
