Medical Places. While the number of clinical placements presents particular challenges, careful planning has been undertaken to ensure the transition to the new postgraduate medical course will not disrupt the number of medical graduates produced annually by the University. The University is committed to at least maintaining the annual number of domestic completions from its medical courses at the record level that will be achieved in 2014. It is recognised that the number of medical places allocated in the Funding Agreement will need to be adjusted appropriately to support this objective. Quality Commonwealth objectives A focus on teaching and learning quality underpins the Commonwealth’s vision for Australia to be one of the most highly educated and skilled nations in the world. The Commonwealth has made a commitment to provide more autonomy to universities through the removal of funding caps on Commonwealth supported bachelor level places. In turn, the Commonwealth requires the University to participate in the higher education quality arrangements which are overseen by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency. The arrangements are designed to support academic autonomy while ensuring that the achievement of standards can be demonstrated and that there is a strong focus on enhancing the quality of teaching and learning while expansion of the higher education system meets national participation ambitions. The Commonwealth’s commitment to quality is demonstrated through initiatives such as the Office for Learning and Teaching, which provides a suite of grants, awards and fellowships to recognise quality and promote innovations in learning and teaching. The University also has obligations under the quality and accountability requirements in Division 19 of HESA. This compact does not change those obligations. University strategies The University is committed to producing graduates who are held in high regard internationally, and to providing a high quality educational experience for its students. The University aims to provide courses of study and a learning environment at the highest possible quality to meet individual, local (state), and national needs at internationally recognised standards.   • Medical Plan ‌ Eligible employees and dependants shall be covered by the British Columbia Medical Services Plan or carrier approved by the British Columbia Medical Services Commission. The Employer shall pay one hundred percent (100%) of the premium. An eligible employee who wishes to have coverage for other than dependants may do so provided the Medical Plan is agreeable and the extra premium is paid by the employee through payroll deduction. Membership shall be a condition of employment for eligible employees who shall be enrolled for coverage following the completion of three (3) months’ employment or upon the initial date of employment for those employees with portable service as outlined in Article 14.12.

  • Medical Plans The Employer will maintain the current health (including vision) and dental insurance programs and practices. For Calendar Years 2022 — 2023, the Employer shall contribute 80% of the premium charge for PPO plans, 85% of premium for the EPO plan, 85% of premium for the IHM plan, 80% for the prescription drug plan and 50% for the dental plan.

  • Medical Services We do not Cover medical services or dental services that are medical in nature, including any Hospital charges or prescription drug charges.

  • Dental specific medications for dental purposes, including fluoride medications (except for children less than five years of age with a non-fluorinated water supply);

  • Medical Procedures 21.01 The Board shall distribute a copy of its Operating Procedures for administration of prescribed medication to pupils in schools and Procedures for health support services to each Teacher. 21.02 In accordance with Operating Procedure Special Education Services 8, a Teacher may refuse without prejudice a request to administer medications except in life-threatening situations.

  • Wellness i. To support the statewide goal for a healthy and productive workforce, employees are encouraged to participate in a Well-Being Assessment survey. Employees will be granted work time and may use a state computer to complete the survey. ii. The Coalition of Unions agrees to partner with the Employer to educate their members on the wellness program and encourage participation. Eligible, enrolled subscribers who register for the Smart Health Program and complete the Well-Being Assessment will be eligible to receive a twenty-five dollar ($25) gift certificate. In addition, eligible, enrolled subscribers shall have the option to earn an annual one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00) or more wellness incentive in the form of reduction in deductible or deposit into the Health Savings Account upon successful completion of required Smart Health Program activities. During the term of this Agreement, the Steering Committee created by Executive Order 13-06 shall make recommendations to the PEBB regarding changes to the wellness incentive or the elements of the Smart Health Program.

  • Medical Services Plan Regular Full-Time and Temporary Full-Time Employees shall be entitled to be covered under the Medical Services Plan commencing the first day of the calendar month following the date of employment. The City shall pay one hundred percent (100%) of the premiums required by the plan.

  • Transporting Students 1. Employees shall not transport students except in accordance with School Board rules. The Board shall adopt a school board policy outlining the teacher’s and the Board’s responsibilities and liabilities. Said policy shall be included in all school handbooks beginning with the 2004-05 school year. 2. Teachers will not be required to transport pupils to and from activities which take place away from the school grounds.

  • Radiation Therapy/Chemotherapy Services This plan covers chemotherapy and radiation services. This plan covers respiratory therapy services. When respiratory services are provided in your home, as part of a home care program, durable medical equipment, supplies, and oxygen are covered as a durable medical equipment service.

  • Professional Development Plan Professional Development Plan (PDP) refers to plans developed by faculty members addressing the criteria contained in Article 22 and Appendix G.
