MEMBER INITIATED TRANSFERS. 1. The Board recognizes that it is desirable in making assignments to consider the interests, aspirations, and length of service of its employees. 2. A request by an employee for transfer to a different assignment when a vacancy exists shall be made in writing to the Human Resources Office. 3. The request shall set forth the reasons for transfer, the school, grade, or position sought, date of hire, and the member’s academic and/or related job qualifications.
