Membership Dues Suspension. Authorized payroll deduction shall be suspended for the period of time that a KFA member is promoted or transferred out of a bargaining unit faculty position covered by this Agreement, or if the bargaining unit member is on lay off or an approved leave of absence. Unless authorization is revoked/cancelled, payroll deduction shall be reinstated with the first pay period after the faculty member returns to work in a bargaining unit position covered by this Agreement.
