Merger and Representation Rights. The provisions of this Agreement shall be binding upon any successor or merged Company or Companies in accordance with the Canada Labour Code, applicable at the time of ratification.

Merger and Representation Rights. The provisions of this Agreement agreement shall be binding upon any successor or merged Company or Companies or any successor in the control of the Company. In the event there is a merger with another Company in which the covered employees therein are represented by another Union, in such Company, the representation rights and the status quo of this Union shall be maintained until a final determination is made in accordance with the Canada Labour Code, applicable at the time of ratification.
