Middle School Work Schedule. A. The middle school overall work day shall be 7-3/4 hours. The established teacher starting time at the middle school(s) shall be 7:30 a.m. with the Board having the ability to adjust starting time in accordance with Article 2. Middle school teachers shall remain at their assigned buildings 7-3/4 hours from the starting time, except where the teacher has contracted duties that require leaving the assigned building earlier than the above set time. B. Each full-time teacher will be scheduled for instructional and student contact time not to exceed 275 minutes per day, including homeroom (exclusive of passing time). Full-time teachers teaching math, integrated language arts, science and social studies shall teach or supervise three (3) eighty-eight (88) minute group instructional or supervisory periods per day. Teachers shall receive one (1) period of 42 minutes for conference and planning time, one (1) period of team meeting time as stipulated below (i.e., four times per week) and a 42 minute duty-free lunch. Once per week, a TBT meeting will occur during one period during the school day. Each middle school interdisciplinary team will meet for three (3) periods per week for team planning during the school day, as scheduled by the Building Principal. Effective 2nd semester of the 2015-2016 school year, January 19, 2016, the middle school teacher schedule shall be modified to reflect one (1) TBT meeting per week and two (2) team meetings per week. C. The Board shall provide art, music, physical education; and may provide health, computer science and world language specialists for students in grades 5-7 in the following manner: Specialists in physical education, music, art, health, computer science and world languages shall provide instruction for (42) forty-two minute sessions on a (3) three day rotation. No specialists will have more than 30 sections per week. D. Middle school faculty meetings may occur once per month, starting within ten (10) minutes of the end of the student day. Faculty meetings may last up to sixty (60) minutes per meeting. Faculty meetings cannot be scheduled on TBT or interdisciplinary team meeting days. In addition, no more than two (2) department meetings shall be held per semester at the end of the teacher workday, with each lasting no more than sixty (60) minutes. Middle School Work Schedule. 1. The middle-school overall work day shall be seven and one-half (7 ½) hours. The work day includes a minimum of thirty (30) minutes of duty- free lunch and one full class period of preparation time daily during the student day. 2. Middle-school teachers shall report to their assigned buildings each day by 7:20 AM and shall remain until 2:50 PM. 3. The workday for bargaining unit members shall consist of no more than three hundred thirty (330) minutes of assigned pupil contact time each day. 4. Teachers will teach six (6) of eight (8) regular instructional periods per day. 5. Teachers will provide one (1) Intervention/Enrichment period per day. This period will not require additional teacher preparation. 6. Teachers will supervise one (1) ten (10) minute homeroom per day. 7. Teachers will have one (1) Team Planning Conference period per student day with responsibilities and parameters to include: a. Teacher team time to review data and engage in instructional planning. b. Conferencing with parents. c. Conferencing with students. d. Other activities the team and Administration deem to be beneficial to students or the educational program. e. Team Planning/Conference period is not to be used for personal planning time. 8. The District shall have the authority to revert back to a schedule in which Middle School teachers teach six (6) of seven (7) periods or teach five (5) classes with a duty, if the decision is based on financial need as determined by the District’s financial forecast showing a deficient on line 15.010 or equivalent within one (1) fiscal year. In such case, the Association will be given six (6) months’ notice.

  • Work Schedule (A) Where an employee has an established schedule, a change in workdays or shifts will be posted no less than 14 calendar days in advance and will reflect at least a two workweek schedule; however, the state will make a good faith effort to reflect a one month schedule. (B) In the event of a declared emergency the notice requirement of this Section may be void. (C) The state will continue to observe the scheduling structures currently in place at each agency and agrees to bargain any change in the overall practice of how schedules are established.

  • Flexible Work Schedule A flexible work schedule is any schedule that is not a regular, alternate, 9/80, or 4/10 work schedule and where the employee is not scheduled to work more than 40 hours in the "workweek" as defined in Subsections F. and H., below.

  • Alternative Work Schedule An alternate forty (40) hour work schedule (other than five (5) uniform and consecutive eight (8) hour days in a seven (7) day period), or for hospital personnel an eighty (80) hour workweek in a fourteen (14) day period and other mutually agreed upon schedules that comply with applicable federal and state law. Employee work schedules normally include two (2) consecutive days off.

  • Flexible Work Schedules An employee may request a modification of their current work schedule to another schedule. The Employer, or its designees, may approve or deny flexible work schedules and retain the responsibility for determining exemptions from, or terminations of, flexible work schedules which adversely affect the operation of the Minnesota Judicial Branch or the level of service to the public.

  • Work Schedules Workweeks and work shifts of different numbers of hours may be established by the Employer in order to meet business and customer service needs, as long as the work schedules meet federal and state laws.

  • Time Schedule 4.1. A project schedule is included in Appendix A. 4.2. Any delay of services or change in sequence of tasks must be approved in writing by Delaware. 4.3. In the event that Vendor fails to complete the project or any phase thereof within the time specified in the Contract, or with such additional time as may be granted in writing by Delaware, or fails to prosecute the work, or any separable part thereof, with such diligence as will insure its completion within the time specified in this Agreement or any extensions thereof, Delaware shall suspend the payments scheduled as set forth in Appendix A.

  • Wage Schedule ‌ The pay rate (including increments and stated extras) as agreed to and hereinafter in this Schedule provided, shall be in effect during the term of the Agreement, from April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2022.

  • Notice of Work Schedules ‌ (a) Work schedules for regular employees shall be posted at least 14 days in advance of the starting day of a new schedule. (b) In the event that the work schedule or shift for a regular employee or an auxiliary employee working a scheduled shift roster is changed without 48 hours' advance notice and such change is the result of the actions of another employee covered by this agreement utilizing the benefits provided for by the provisions of this agreement, the employee will receive a premium of 85¢ per hour in addition to their regular pay, for work performed on the first shift to which they changed. (c) In the event that an employee's work schedule or shift is changed without five days advance notice and the change results from causes other than defined in (b) above, the employee shall receive a premium at the applicable overtime rate for work performed on the first shift to which they changed, except that if the change results from no fault of the Employer they shall not receive a premium at overtime rates but shall receive the premium defined under (b) above.

  • General Scope of Work The Scope of Work and projected level of effort required for these SERVICES is described in Exhibit “A” attached hereto and by this reference made a part of this AGREEMENT. The General Scope of Work was developed utilizing performance based contracting methodologies.

  • Alternate Work Schedule An alternate work schedule is any work schedule where an employee is regularly scheduled to work five (5) days per week, but the employee’s regularly scheduled two (2) days off are NOT Saturday and Sunday.
