MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISES. Contractor shall target 15% of all subcontract work, of any tier, to be awarded to Native American Business Enterprises, Minority Business Enterprises, and\or Woman Owned Business Enterprises (“MBE”). Contractor shall report quarterly and shall submit a summary report prior to final payment in a format as specified by the Purchasing Agent. No price factoring is to be considered in subcontractor selection. Contractor’s performance regarding MBE placements will be considered as evaluative criteria for this contract and for future contract awards. Contractor shall not discriminate against any subcontractors or employee regarding race, religion, color, sex, age, physical condition or national origin.
MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISES. All parties to this agreement assure that no person will be excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or otherwise discriminated against, in connection with the award and performance of this agreement on the grounds of age, race, color, disability, national origin or sex.
MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISES. Provider shall promptly notify Subcontractor or Health Plan if it is currently, or at any time during the term of the Agreement becomes, certified as a Minority Business Enterprise by the Massachusetts State Office of Minority and Women Business Assistance.

18.2 Consultant shall not discriminate against any subcontractors or employee on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, age, physical condition or national origin.
MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISES. Pursuant to the provisions of Title 37 Chapter 14.1 of the General Laws, the State reserves the right to apply additional consideration to offers, and to direct awards to bidders other than the responsive bid representing the lowest price where:
a. the offer is fully responsive to the terms and conditions of the Request, and
b. the price offer is determined to be within a competitive range (not to exceed 5% higher than the lowest responsive price offer) for the product or service, and
c. the firm making the offer has been certified by the R.I. Department of Economic Development to be a small business concern meeting the criteria established to be considered a Minority Business Enterprise. Ten per cent [10%] of the dollar value of the work performed against contracts for construction exceeding $5,000 shall be performed by Minority Business Enterprises where it has been determined that subcontract opportunities exist, and where certified Minority Business Enterprises are available. A contractor may count towards its MBE, DBE, or WBE goals 60% of its expenditures for materials and supplies required under a contract and obtained from an MBE, DBE, or WBE regular dealer, and 100% of such expenditures when obtained from an MBE, DBE, or WBE manufacturer. Awards of this type shall be subject to approval, by the Director of Administration, of a Subcontracting Plan submitted by the bidder receiving the award.
MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISES. Lessee understands that it is the policy of the U.S. Department of Transportation that minority business enterprises as defined in 49 CFR, Part 23, shall have the maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of this Lease as defined in 49 CFR, Section 23.5, and that this Lease is subject to 49 CFR, Part 23, as applicable. Lessee hereby assures that no person shall be excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or otherwise discriminated against in connection with 49 CFR, Part 23, on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex.
MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISES. Contractor shall notify Owner of each Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) providing labor, materials, equipment, or supplies to the Project under a contract with the Contractor. Contractor’s notification shall be via the first monthly status report submitted to the Owner after execution of the contract with the MBE. For each such MBE, the Contractor shall provide the MBE’s name, address, and telephone number, the nature of the work to be performed or materials or equipment to be supplied by the MBE, whether the MBE is certified by the South Carolina Office of Small and Minority Business Assistance, and the value of the contract.
MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISES. If subcontracts are to be let, Provider is required to take all necessary steps identified in 2 C.F.R. § 200.321(b)(1)-(5) to ensure that small and minority businesses, women’s business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are used when possible.
MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISES. It is the policy of the Owner to encourage the use of minority businesses in all school construction contracts and to have a verifiable goal of ten percent (10%) participation by minority businesses in the total value of the work. It is the intent of this policy that the Owner, as awarding authority for school construction projects, and all Contractors and Subcontractors performing the construction contracts awarded shall cooperate and in good faith do all things legal, proper, and reasonable to achieve the verifiable goal of ten percent (10%) participation. Each bidder will take specific actions to insure a good faith effort in the recrutment and selection of minority businesses including but not limited to: SUBMITTED WITH BID:
MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISES. The Architect/Engineer shall make all reasonable efforts to comply with the Minority Business Enterprise ("MBE") participation goal pursuant to Title 14, Subtitle 3 of the State Finance and Procurement Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland.
