Miscellaneous Provisions (Revised 2017). 1. The District will, when possible, notify the CSEA President ninety days prior to the effective date of pending layoff actions which will affect employees within the bargaining unit. 2. An employee who is laid off and subsequently reemployed shall retain that seniority earned prior to the effective date of the layoff (i.e., he/she shall receive an adjusted hire date which is the original hire date minus the period of layoff).
