Common use of Mortgagee’s Consent Clause in Contracts

Mortgagee’s Consent. If the Premises are subject to a mortgage or charge, the landlord must obtain the unconditional mortgagee's or chargee’s consent to this agreement at the landlord’s cost, and provide the tenant with a copy of such consent. Such consent must be in the form attached to this agreement at Schedule 1 and/or in any other form required by the Western Australia Land Registry to register this agreement.
