Multiemployer Plans Sample Clauses
The Multiemployer Plans clause addresses the parties’ responsibilities and obligations related to pension or benefit plans that are jointly maintained by multiple employers, typically under collective bargaining agreements. It often requires the employer to disclose participation in such plans, ensure compliance with relevant laws, and may outline procedures for handling withdrawal liability or contributions. This clause is essential for clarifying financial and legal risks associated with multiemployer plans, thereby protecting both parties from unexpected liabilities and ensuring transparency in employment-related benefit arrangements.
