Municipal Holiday. It shall be the responsibility of the employee working in the area of the proclaimed municipal holiday to advise the Employer of said proclaimed municipal holiday prior to the holiday, in order to be eligible for the holiday.

Federal Holidays The Employee shall be entitled to federal holidays per calendar year. This is subject to change by the Employer from time to time. If for any reason the Employee should request a Federal Holiday off, the Employer shall determine if the Employee may do so and if it shall be taken from either the Employee’s Personal Leave or Vacation Time. Federal Holidays are determined by the Employer and may change every calendar year.
Civic Holiday Labour Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day (December 25) Boxing Day (December 26) In addition to the above noted holidays, full-time employees will be eligible for two (2) floating holidays. The float holiday will be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time prior to the end of the calendar year.
Statutory Holiday All time worked on such Statutory Holidays as are provided for in this Agreement shall be considered as overtime and shall be paid at two hundred percent (200%) of the employee's regular straight-time rate, or the employee may elect to be paid straight-time rates for the overtime hours and take an equal number of hours as time off. Such time off must be taken according to a schedule acceptable to the employee's Supervisor within thirty (30) days of the end of the pay period in which the overtime was worked.
Public Holiday 6.1 The Worker shall be entitled to public holidays in accordance with the labour laws in Malaysia.
Legal Holidays In any case where the date on which any payment is due shall not be a Business Day, then (notwithstanding any other provision of the Notes or this Indenture) payment need not be made on such date, but may be made on the next succeeding Business Day with the same force and effect as if made on the date on which nominally due, and no interest shall accrue for the period from and after any such nominal date.
Holiday 6.1 The Executive shall be entitled during the Employment to 30 working days holiday in each calendar year plus bank holidays. Holiday may only be taken at such time or times as the Chief Executive Officer shall approve. The Executive’s holiday entitlement shall be pro rated for the year in which the Employment begins and for the year in which the Employment ends.
Annual Holidays (i) On completion of 12 months continuous service an employee shall be entitled to annual paid leave of 4 working weeks.
GENERAL HOLIDAYS 13.01 The following days shall be recognized and considered as paid general holidays: New Year's Day Labour Day Xxxxx Xxxx Day Thanksgiving Day Good Friday Remembrance Day Victoria Day Christmas Day Canada Day Boxing Day Xxxxx Xxx Day and any other day or portion of a day designated as a paid holiday by the Civic, Provincial or Federal Government.
Sunday Employees at the Maine State Prison shall be eligible for a weekend differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour to the base for shifts beginning between 8:30 p.m. Friday and 8:29 p.m. Sunday.
Special Holidays A Special Holiday is a holiday declared a holiday by the University for its employees other than a Saturday, Sunday, General (Statutory) Holiday or day declared by the University to be in lieu of a Statutory Holiday. The rate of pay for the Special Holiday shall be that which the employee would have received if she/he had worked.
