Common use of National Guard or Armed Forces Leave Clause in Contracts

National Guard or Armed Forces Leave. Unpaid leaves of absence will be granted to employees who are active in the National Guard or a branch of the Armed Forces Reserves for the purpose of fulfilling their annual field training obligations, or in the event the employees are ordered to active duty, providing such employees make written request for such leaves of absence immediately upon receiving their orders to report for such duty.
